After a long night of hanging out we slept for a large part of the day. I was the first one up and opted to sit in a coffee shop down the street and read the newspaper. It was pretty quiet, or at least as quiet as Seattle can be.
Later in the day Maya decided to give up her valuable parking space and we all went to the beach. We needed a “party break” and just wanted to chill. The beach was surprisingly windy and cold – not what I was expecting.
After the beach we went for a short hike in one of Seattle’s beautiful rain forests. There were times when I felt like I had stepped into a fairy tale some of the spots were so beautiful.
